ISO14001:2015 is a voluntary process that primarily involves reducing the impact of business on the environment. It seeks to set a number of targets and the action plan to achieve them. It is called an Environmental Management System (EMS). The ISO14001 standard is the same for all sectors and all countries, it consists of organizing the (human and technical) resources to meet the requirements.
